Unless you can get the dealership in your country to cooperate it's essentially futile to get any license renewals.
And if they can't be bothered? Well unlucky you.
I like Danfoss products and have been writing software in it for years now, but once a guy quits his job and some one else takes over and just doesn't give a shit about this. It's all over. Very nice to say the least.

As far as I know, any Danfoss PS dealer can help you, within a few days, not just the one who sold you the original license.
I agree this isn't the most consumer friendly system, but I can understand why Danfoss doesn't want to set up a sales system for a single product with limited sales volume.

Hello samuelhj,

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble getting licenses for the tools, and it shouldn't have to be that way.
The license model is changing and from what I understand the next step is for the user to be able to buy licenses/renewals online. Unfortunately I don't have any dates on when this will happen, but if I'm not mistaken,  it's only details left  to get it up and running??

I wonder if you could contact another Danfoss distributor?

Have a nice day.

Best regards,
Tor

When I've been in trouble in the past, I just got a trial licence. It gives you 30 days for them to get their act together.

Yeah can do that but I do use function blocks, and this renewal process is stupid. Thankfully it seems to be changing for the better and I have contacted a company in Denmark that might help me get this resolved, thanks to Tor's suggestions that he emailed me. Just very infuriating having to wait months for something like this, putting projects on hold.
