Writing an LHX to Dp6xx

Hello.

I have an LHX file from a legacy project (Pistenbully groomer) but the display is broken.
can different hardware versions be programmed from the same LHX file (They are not using the extra features of the 620 and 610 display) to the a replacement display if the hardware version is not matched?
I see a lot of 610 displays around but not too many 600 displays.
So question basically boils down to, can it mismatch hardware version but still be downloaded?

Hello,

Do you only have the LHX file and not the P1P file?
In that case, you can only download the LHX to a similar screen.

If you have the P1P file, you can then modify the hardware file in your program for a 610 screen (or another type) and try to compile it.

The company only had the LHX file... So I guess I need to find the EXACT model for that LHX. I don't have the p1d program for it. And if that were the case I'd simply use a different screen for it.

I found a used working display on Ebay, which is the same model so I guess I'll go that route.
Does anyone here have a working DP610 and would be willing to try upload the LHX file if I send it to them and verify it boots up?
I'm kind of working with a legacy system but it's a snow groomer which is quite expensive to replace just because of a faulty display, for a organization that is entirely operated by volunteers so it's not work related, but something I'm just doing as a volunteer to help them out.
