Hi,
In a OX024-110 IO module, what is the difference between a DOUT pin (ex: C1p09) and a DOUT/PVG Power Supply pin (ex: C1p10) about supplying power to a PVES valve coil?
I want to power multiple PVES valve coils from a single digital output pin.
Can I use either a DOUT or a DOUT/PVG Power Supply for this?
If yes, why is there such a distinction between these two types of pins? Why dedicated PVG Power Supply pins exists?
Also, I was being told that I can only power up to 3 PVES valve coils from a single digital output pin. But, looking at the datasheet of the PVES, the supply current will be 560mA @ 12V.
So, for a digital output pin that can supply up to 3A, I should be able to power up to 5 PVES valve coils (5x 0.56A = 2.8A), isn't it?
