Translation tool
« on: June 26, 2013, 10:59:26 AM »

How are you people doing when translating a display project? Is there any software that will import and export a .csv file that the guide will load? It's easy to import the .csv file into libreoffice calc (or probably any spreadsheet software), but the exported format is not compatible with Guide.

I was just wondering if someone have a nice solution to this? Maybe there is some type of dedicated translation editing tool that will load and save the specific .csv-file format that guide is using?

Yes, a regular text editor is possible, but it is really a pain when having many languages and different length of the texts. Editing with the guide is not so easy when there is a third party that does the translation.
