ERROR 665 ???
« on: September 16, 2019, 04:45:20 PM »
Hey Guys,

Does any one have experienced ERROR 665 when compiling a DP250 firmware?

the problem is that it just tell you that ERROR 665, it does not tell where /what the error is, I have no clue to know where I am wrong

how do you find out the error?

Thanks

Hi Pinias!

Please send us your application in a .P1P-format and we can test this. I can't tell from the picture what version of PLUS+1 GUIDE you're running nor what version of the HWD you're using.

First fix the previous two compiler errors, which might make the linker error go away.  I vaguely recall this error where linking is attempted even though the compilation failed.

ok,

the helpdesk illuminated my path. the error clues were in between the warnings.

for some reason most of the times the warnings are first then the errors, but this time it was not like that.

and I have 500 warnings so I just assumed there was not clues for the error without looking in between the warnings.

Thanks

Is there a link to an Error list and what the errors mean? Having a random number 587, 665 etc means nothing to me? I have had to complete gut my display program so I have dramas every where but I don't even know where to start fixing them as I get the above 2 faults and nothing else?

I also never get any of the "hint" icons etc show up in my programming, I have the check boxes in the options menu ticked?

Error 665 just means the build failed.  You need to scroll up inside the "Error/Warning/Hint Messages" window to find the original error that caused the failure.

Nothing came up at all in the error box other than 665, 587. I ended up opening the program in the last Guide version 11. .  . And had the huge list of errors I was expecting, working through those now.

My display program will now compile on 11.1.6 but will not on the version 12. Same errors. 665 and 587. I am going back to version 11 for now until I know 12 is working Ok.

I have upgraded the display to the latest hardware file and it will now compile and works correctly in v12.0.6. Small wins for the little guy :D
