I have not noticed you replied.

So yes my logic is somewhat like your picture

turns out the coupler to the encoder had some slippery and misalignment, that was my problem, I installed a step motor to drive the encoder and get it tested but that coupling was the bad guy.

ZanInno, would you be able to share some more information on this?

I have a DM430 with RS232 - then a RS232/RS485 converter - and a MODBUS sensor at the end.

I'm struggling to fint the right commands/array values to read the registers.

F.ex. the  sensor has address=1 and i want to read the register "3026". What would be the correct string command or array?

Hello

I understand now because Sc050 FeedBackCurrent don't exist in digital output. Please see image.

And SC050 Multfuction doesn't have OpenLoad on status.  Thanks Sir sverreo.

So the problem is was confusion between DigFeedBack and FeedBackCurrent.

So I think only way to test DigfeedBackCurrent is status but number 8 is for open load and over-temperature.

Any way if not other solution I will use status.

macbahi also be aware that MFOUT doesn't have OpenLoad on status.

To detect open load on MFOUT you need to make the logic yourself using the FeedBackCurrent signal.

macbahi, why can't DigFeedbak=1 if there is an open load on the pin?

DigFeedback measures the voltage on the output pin, and there should be power there even though there is nothing connected (Open Load) as long as DigOut=1

Sorry I am not agree with you. DigFeedback is not correct.  Please see good first picture .
It's not possible the DigFeedback can be on in both cases load connected and load non connected   (load is coil).

Moreover status indicate 0.  It's good result load connected but for Load non connected status indicate 8. So DigFeedBack must be 0.  Please see the picture.

I think some SC050 DigFeedBack has error problem.  In the past I use the same program with SC024.  It's working good.
Now I want to use SC050 but I find this error feedback.

For the moment I use Status as feedback but it's not good solution because status =8 is for over temperature and open load.

It's same problem for multi-function output but in this case it's status problem.  Please see good the second picture.
