DM430E flashing issue
« on: November 04, 2024, 04:00:42 PM »
Hello,

With the Plus+1 trial license I could flash and reflash a test application into the DM430E-0-0-0-0 display.
When the trial license expired, I switched to an express license and since then I am facing issues in reflashing the display.
I am not sure I am missing any additional project settings in my project configuration.
Could you please help?

The display is connected through the host PC using PCAN hardware with RP1210C driver.

Refer "Screenshot_1.png" for the gateway configuration.
Refer "Screenshot_2.png" for the system scan that recognised the display device.
Refer "Screenshot_3.png" for download file to ecu.

Thank you very much in advance.

Any thoughts?
This is a stopping issue and I am unable to get it resolved.
Is there any technical team I can talk to or an email where I can email the issue further?
Thanks.

You can reach out to the helpdesk if you have any issues:
https://www.danfoss.com/en/campaigns/dps/plusplus1-support-form/

Make sure you only have 1 display connected with the same Node ID. If you have more than 1 unit with the same Node ID connected you can get this error.

Also make sure you have the CAN terminated properly with 120ohm in both ends of the bus.

Thank you sverreo for your suggestion. It helped to re-flash the display.
I didn't realise I need to add a third node on the system in order to complete the flash sequence as per Screenshot_4.png.

I added a second PEAK hardware with a different device ID and it allowed me to complete the flashing.

I will write a detailed instruction later for the benefit of others.
