Daimler Engine Control Unit PLD CAN Protocol
« on: May 17, 2016, 01:59:17 PM »
Hi guys,

I have a question regarding an ECU PLD from Daimler/Mercedes. I want to visualize some diesel engine datas with a DP570 and at first I thought that this would be no problem with the standard J1939 Messages.
But after I look at the CAN bus via CANKing, I see that there are other message formats on the bus.
The Identifers had 11 bit and not 29. The ID's starts from 0x100 and went up to 0x600.

Are some users here who have  experiences with a Mercedes diesel engine and know which Messages they use ?

Thanks in advance !

Regards,
