Hi,
if I have a big program, I do anything else by waiting.
It would be nice, if the computer gives a sound when guide is finished!
So, I can come back to my computer and go on with downloading the file to a controller.
After downloading is ready, it would even be nice, if the computer produces a sound.
What do you think about this nice feature?
Bye,
Bernd

Hi Bernd
I would like to have these features.
They would be nice to have as you say when working with a big program.
But a simpel checkbox to disable the sound, will probably be equally nice to have if you are testing something in a small program.
Good idea, Bernd.

Thank you.
We have added it to our wish list for future improvements.

Thanks!

Hi Daniel,
when will it be implemented in new Guide software?
It is not so important, but nice to have :)

Hi Daniel,
now, it is 2 years ago.
Whats about the sound, when compiling is ready?
Another question:
Is it a problem to use Strg+F5 ?
Somebody tolds me, not to do this. Perhaps he had had trouble in an old guide version?
Should we use the partial compiling function = Strg+F5 ?

Now, 3 years and no sound :(
Compiling needs 4 minutes and it would be nice, if computer gives a sound, so I can do another thing and don't need to watch to monitor.

Hi Bernd!
We still have this in what we call our wish-list but unfortunately it hasn't been implemented yet.
Today the standard shortcut button for Compile all is F5 and Compile changed is Ctrl+F5. If you want to you could change the buttons under Setup -> Options -> Shortcuts -> Application. We haven't heard of any problems using these shortcuts.
Best regards,
