Title: Using GPS

I want to make a drill rig that can show working information in Displayer of Sauer Danfoss

first work is checking real time clock, altitude and location of working

How can do communicate with Microcontroller with GPS?

no need a serial port ?

If anyone try to this working of GPS Pls give us some information

Hi.

You should consider the use of the RC150 system, see attached.

Depending on what type of GPS you are using, if you can find a GPS for marine use using NMEA 2000 protocol, you will be happe to find out this is similar to J1939! Also NMEA 0183 can be used with DP600 but this is much more tricky, but has been done. I have done this with success on a little “desk draw” project for an autopilot my own boat ?

Have you taken a loom at the new Danfoss WS 403 telematics solutions?  Should be much better than the RC150.
