Fault Manager Library
« on: February 21, 2020, 01:56:22 AM »
Has anyone used this yet?
Is it possible to use this to convert SPN/FMI from an engine and display text equivalent?
Cheers

Hi,

theoretically it's possible with a lot of work in coding ;) The amount of possible errors to store in the fault manager is also limited - so it will be not possible to catch all SPN/FMI faults from an engine.

For me, the fault manager is used to generate your own SPN/FMI codes out of the errors in your application. You can also create standardized DM1/DM2 messages with the SPN/FMI codes.

I would love to use this feature if it does what I think it does, but when I try to build the spreadsheet it tells me "Bad file name or number".  Not sure what that is all about.
