Hi Pankaj,
The two things I would check first:
 - Are you running Plus1 Guide with administrator rights? (this you have allready checked)
 - Is your antivirus/fileshield interfering with the installation?

Hello

This error normally pops up when you try to add a hardware to a new project, without having a GUIDE license activated.

Please go to Tools\License Manager and make sure your license is activated and that there is a checkmark in the checkbox next to it (in the "Use" column).
If it says "Activate" in the Register column to the right, you will need to click on that text to activate your license. This will open your e-mail client to let you send a request to the license server and then, after a minute or two, you will receive a license key by e-mail. This you will need to paste into the license manager and click the "Add License Key" button. Then OK.

If this does not help, please contact the PLUS+1 helpdesk: plus+1helpdesk@danfoss.com.

Best Regards

Downloaded and installed the latest version as an EVALUATION version.  There seems to be NO INTERNAL LICENSE included with the install.  I can understand the no compile and no saving of a project but not even being able to partially start / view a project ... seems a little "over the top".  Is there something I missed somewhere?

Hello

In the release notes you can read the following text:

When using GUIDE without a license (Evaluation Mode), saving is not possible.
Recommendation: For the best user experience, an existing project to test with is essential.
Please contact PLUS+1 Helpdesk to obtain an evaluation project.

So, here you get one. Attached you will find a project for a SC050-120. Just a template, so you can play around however you like.
Still with the limit of not being able to save or compile.

Have fun!

Best regards
Daniel

Understood that "Save and Compile" was disabled but did not know that also included 'create' functions at all.  Thanks for the help.
