Title: Missing fonts error when trying to compile with 2024.1
Post by: williamk on February 13, 2024, 12:54:42 AM
I have a project that I can successfully compile using version 2023.2, but when I try to compile it in 2024.1 I get the following error message:

*** ERROR 597 *** [PLUS1_IDE] Screen Editor Error: {Error Code201; Missing fonts:
Balboa ExtraCondensed [Bold]
Franklin Gothic Book [Bold]
Franklin Gothic Demi [Bold]
Franklin Gothic Demi Cond [Bold]}

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the font, but that hasn't fixed the issue.

Hello williamk

I will post the same thing as I posted in another thread with the same issue:

"Yes, there seems to be a bug when it comes to some fonts and this is reported. I hope they can find a a solution quickly, and I guess, get a patch out.

Sorry about the inconvenience."

Have a nice day.

Ah, I looked quickly before posting and didn't see that post.  Thanks for the reply.

Hello williamk,

Sorry, I didn't mean that you should know what I have commented in another thread.  The comment "..the same thing in another thread...." was just to inform that more people had the same issue.   :D

Have a nice day.

This appears to be fixed in 2024.1.4
