Disabling some default logging value
« on: May 09, 2017, 10:04:38 PM »
Hi,

I'm using a WS503-BP and I would try to disable some unnecessary logged messages that seems to be logged by default from the default config file :

When looking at the .clf file (downloaded from the portal), these are the 3 logged messages I would like to disable :

|-+- CANMessageSentence (CAN Id:2045 11bit) Data: [000000000000000000000000]
| +- Tue May 09 19:47:18 UTC 2017
| +- 00000000 03 00 07 FD 0C 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ................
| +- 00000010 00 .
|
|-+- CANMessageSentence (CAN Id:419358757 29bit) Data: [1a661d00ffff3953]
| +- Tue May 09 19:47:18 UTC 2017
| +- 00000000 03 00 18 FE E8 25 08 1A 66 1D 00 FF FF 39 53 .....%..f....9S
|
|-+- CANMessageSentence (CAN Id:419414053 29bit) Data: [0dd50600020001ff]
| +- Tue May 09 19:47:18 UTC 2017
| +- 00000000 03 00 18 FF C0 25 08 0D D5 06 00 02 00 01 FF .....%.........

These 3 messages are logged at a 30s interval.

Let me know the procedure to disable the logging of these messages. They aren't listed into "Custom CAN Communication / Receive CAN Message (PDOs)" so I don't know how to disable them.

Sam

Hi,

I found the solution myself. These messages are used for the Machine States. To disable them, in the device configuration, go to "Operation Manager / Log States / "Basic" tab" and untick "This Operation is valid".

Hope that this can help people that has the same question in the future.
