How to open ports 443 and 60100 (WS Danfoss Telematics)

Hi,

I downloaded the "Danfoss Telematics Solution PLUS1 Service Tool Drivers" to be able to do a remote connection with a WS403 unit and I can't connect because the Network Validation cannot open ports 443 and 60100.

I tried to do some port forwarding with our IT guy and we also make sure that there are no firewall activated and we always get the "The required ports (443 & 60100) are not open. Check the Internet connection." We even tried a DMZ to forward all the external requests to my computer local IP and the ports were still closed.

What are the next steps? The WS403 user manual doesn't have this type of info.

Ok, now at least, I can login and I can see my remote machines in the window. But when I try to connect to a machine, I get error 24 : Device password request time out. Most likely because device is offline.

I know the machine is not offline because I can see it online in the Machine Window.

Maybe the timeout delay is too short. Can it be increased?

Still, the port check tell me that my port 60100 is closed. How can I open it. I already forwarded the 60100 port to my computer IP address. I have remove all my firewalls on  my computer. What else can I do?

Hi everyone,

I'm pleased to announce that this problem is now solved.

Helpdesk suggested that I use the latest driver (10.11), the latest Service Tool (7.1.12) and the latest WS403 firmware (11.00j).

It's now working as it should. I'm able to connect with the WS403, download programs remotely to Danfoss controllers, log some checkpoints, change parameters, etc.

Really nice product. It will be nice for remote troubleshooting/tuning.
