Backing up existing program on a DP200
« on: August 15, 2018, 12:26:42 AM »
I'm new to the Danfoss HW/SW. Ideally I'd like to be able to pull the existing code loaded on the DP200 off and add functionality. But if that is not possible, then being able to save off a copy of the existing build to have as a backup would be great. Any help is greatly appreciated. I just have the DP200, I do not have the .p1x or .scs files. I have GUIDE Pro, the Service tool, and a CG150 cable to connect to DP200.

Thanks!

Hi Jerry!

I'm sorry but there is no way to be able to upload an application or a downloadable file from a hardware to Service tool. The only way to get hold of the application is by contacting the person who designed that or the downloadable file. The downloadable file is made by compiling the application using PLUS+1 GUIDE. So if you get hold of the application you can easily create a downloadable file by yourself.
