I am still working with 11.1.5 :-(
Version 12: The contrast of Layout in Guide is not good for me. I wand black background as before.
Or ist there an option to have the same contrast as befor?

You can change the background color in Setup -> Options -> General.  Change theme to Dark.

Hello dlewis.
Version 12.0.7 is just a patch of 12.0.6.
There will be more fixes to issues in the forum thread of 12.0.6 in version 12.1 of PLUS+1 tools.

Best Regards
Jonas

But also in dark , the contrast is very bad. Version 11 is better!
Also, if I choose "dark" the library is not white like in V11, it is now black.
The layout in V11 is much better then in V12. See pictures below.

I found another issue with this version.  When compiling programs for out DP710 everything looks fine on the computer but after downloading into the Display, the graphics are not always in the same position.  :'(

I found another issue with this version.  When compiling programs for out DP710 everything looks fine on the computer but after downloading into the Display, the graphics are not always in the same position.  :'(

About that, I had the same kind of problem in the following conditions :

- I import an image that has an "Attachment Point" on the (0;0) point (top left corner).
- This image is naturally on the horizontal position.
- I drag this image into the screen definition
- I set the "AttachmentPoint" property at "apCenter" for ease of image placement (to make sure it is centered on a specific location)
- I set the rotation at 90° to make the image vertical (because that's what I want to achieve)

When I do all the above, on the Screen Preview, everything is fine and the image is as at the good position (image is vertical, center of image is located at the InsertionPoint coordinates I set). But, when dowloaded in the display, the displayed image is not at the same position.

This happened on 11.1.6, so it's not related to 12.1.7.

So, please verify if the image you are talking about have an AttachmentPoint property set at something else than "appDefault".

Hope to help!

And in 12.1.8  I can't work with this design!!!

Neither in "dark",  nor in "Light".

I want the old Layout colours and contrast as in 11.1.5 !!!

+1 for the option to have the old colour scheme back. And also the option to go back to the old text display in the graphics area. It does not have to be a default but give us the option.

I don't mind the new colours or anti-aliased text when I am in the office but, I have been working outside at a new machine model we are developing and V12 is terrible outside on even a overcast day. I persisted for a while but eventually gave up and went back to V11.

To give credit the the team at Danfoss they reached out to some of us with a beta version and did make improvements to the text display. Unfortunately this happened during our Covid-19 lockdown and I was only able to test on a desktop PC. On my work laptop with a lower resolution display the text is still unreadable when fully zoomed out resulting in the need to zoom in more often. This is not necessary in V11 and makes V12 feel extremely cumbersome to use.

But they will not give us this possiblity.
This is the information, I get:
"We will keep PLUS+1 GUIDE like it is now in version 12.1. There will not be any possibility to get the "old style" back.

I have attached a screen capture from my screen with Dark Theme. I do not see any problem with the contrast.

The new style are using Windows fonts that are much easier to read compared to the "CAD" text (made by vectors)."

So, the only way is to use 11,1,5 as long as possible!
