C files generated using DP250
« on: June 20, 2018, 01:52:11 PM »
Hello

I am using Plus+1 Guide Professional 10.0.8 and wolring with Display DP 250. I want to know that there is some ID generated when we add a new text in the Program. i.e. If I add new text as Acceleration then it generates ID as 92 and also it shows us the path where the text is added.

I want to know the location where all this texts are stored or updated rather than going in each every screen to get the texts.

ALso what does the ID denotes? and how it is link with my DP 250 hardware?

Hi Anjaahir!

The ID for a text doesn't tell you that much, but it is used internally to show the right text in the right place. Currently there is no other way than going into each screen you want to use your text and add the text. There is no repository file where you can find all texts and use their ID to tell in which screen they should be used.

The path tells you where in your Screen Library the text can be found.

There is no link from the texts you create in your application to your hardware. If you don't lock the application to one specific part/serial number this application can be used on any DP250.

Best regards
