Kvaser BlackBird SemiPro HS

Hi Plus+1 People,

Has anybody tried to use the Kvaser BlackBird SemiPro HS with Guide?  It is a CAN dongle that connects to your PC using wi-fi, hence no wires tying you to the machine.

Would be great if it works, but too expensive to buy one without knowing.

Yes it works, i use it my self! Range is about 200-300 meter in free air. Using the servicetool the updatetime  is from 5- 20 msec depending on number of checkpoints :-)

Is this the best gateway to use?
I am using CG150 and USB, in case of DPXXX.

Whats about download time, service tool update time, costs, easy to hand ?

Hi guys!

We are normally use CG150 and USB but especially for H1AC applications (Parameter Setting) we work with Kvaser Black Bird Semi Pro.

Down- und Upload-Performance are nearly compareable to CG150.
Easy to handle, but you need administration rights on your notebook for the wireless settings.

Hi,
does it works fine by:
- dowload files with service-tool?
- download and upload parameters with service - tool?
- watching chekcpoints, trigger inputs with service-tool?

- logging and playing data with Kvaser software?

If you say yes to all 4 points, I will buy this!
Where have you buyed it and what price is it?
