.EDS files in GUIDE
« on: February 12, 2023, 02:32:19 PM »
I am missing one thing when it comes to the GUIDE CANopen FB Library, and that is an easy way to manage .EDS files
It would save a lot of time if you could, for example, read an .EDS file and then write it to a CANopen node via a function block.

Are there any plans from Danfoss to implement this in the future?

I agree 100%.  Also nice would be DBC file support for J1939.

I upvote your request!

Hello,

This is in the PLUS+1 Wishlist for future releases, and as far as I can see it has been "approved".
This unfortunately doesn't mean it will show up tomorrow or at all, but they have chosen to proceed the investigation of this request.
All fingers crossed.

Have a nice day
Best regards,

Hello

Is there an update on this topic or when can we expect the implementation of the EDS files?

Thanks!
