You can do this already. Add>>Text/Vector Graphics>>Hollow Circle. Also from the side bar (see attached)

If I use svg pictures and change size, the thickness of line will also change.

Basick drawings like lines, circles, rectangles and so on, woud bi nice.

Thanks,
I will try this workaround.

At the moment I use the white background. Here the color is OK. It would also be nice, we were able to set the color.

My monitor is 30" and 3840 × 2160 Pixels.
Here, the green wires are very small, you have to search them.

It would be nice, if we coud choose the thickness.

I think Danfoss has developed Guide for Laptops.
But there are also 30" monitors.

I have 1 NV which checks if the software is new and then it sets all connected values to default and itself.

Hi,

These are the colors I get in 2023
Red : 0xf03658
Green: 0x1ad55f

The muted colors took me a bit to get used to as well. There is a way to make them vibrant with a built in tool of Windows.
In the start menu if you search "Color Filters" you'll get some accessibility options that can be helpful.
I've found that the "Red-green (green weak, deuteranopia)" option can help boost the red and green to get them back to the former vibrancy.

If you want the value to be modified only from Service Tool, I would suggest to simply use the "Non-volatile Memory Dynamic Input" component. With this component, you do not have to deal with anything about read/write/default.

Simply place the component in the program and use it's value where you need it.

After you downloaded the program into the controller, maybe it will have garbage in it, but simply setting a value with Service Tool will set it correctly (you are connected to Service Tool anyway as you are downloading the firmware to the controller, so it's not a big hassle).

Sam

That solution would work, but it means the machine would not operate correctly unless you manually input all of the correct values using the service tool.  I'm controlling several pump EDC's, and I'm using the NVMe parameters to create modifier values that the user can use to adjust outputs up or down from their defaults.  All of these modifiers start at 100% by default, and then can be adjusted to increase or decrease the current flow to each EDC to tune machine operations.  On the vast majority of builds, these values will not change from their defaults.  By using the code I posted above, I am able to set defaults when I write the software, but easily edit them with the service tool.

Please, can someone tell me the color-values of red and green (bus, wire) in Guide 2023 ?
You can use a color tool.
I have used "ColorPicker". There are a lot of    tools, which can do this.

In my Guide red is only 0xF03658 and not 0xFF0000, so contrast is not good.

Thanks!

PLUS+1 GUIDE / Re: Curved Monitor usefull ?
« Last post by Tor on December 22, 2023, 07:59:31 AM »
Hello,

Can we keep this as a discussion if curved monitors are useful when developing in PLUS+1 GUIDE I will keep it here. In other cases I will move it to the "Off Topic" section.

For GUIDE developing I believe it can be a good thing. Large drawing on the screen, and everything at the same distance to your eyes. Your eyes don't have to re-focus as much when you are turning your head?  This is what I think, I don't have any facts to back me up.

The curved monitor has become a standard in our office, but myself are using two 27" flat monitors and a laptop screen. I thought it got a little crowded running both Service Tool and GUIDE on the same monitor. And if I wanted the same setup as I have now, I would have to get a 49" curved monitor (If I remember correct) and that was not an option.

Have a nice Holiday.
