Bad fonts in screen projects?
« on: November 20, 2012, 06:22:06 PM »
There seems to be a problem with using system fonts in projects for screens.
e.g. DP600s and DP250s

While they still function, they are the wrong fonts.
For example, when I select Fixedsys 9 (Western) for a text box, the box is actually using another font.
(This was loaded using the More System Fonts... option, to get the font from Windows' library of fonts.)
I don't know which one, but I know that it isn't Fixedsys, because that is a fixed-width font, and whatever ends up on my screens is not fixed-width.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, and is there a solution?
I'd even use another font, as long as it's fixed-width and fairly readable in different sizes, and works in GUIDE without this problem.

Silly question, but is your guide completely up to date?

I had a nightmare with font issues (spaces missing, fonts being replaced with different ones in the editor, etc) but the 5.1.10.1 update corrected some big bugs with the way fonts were handled. So far I haven't had any repeat issues.

I am using 5.1.10.1, so that can't be it.
At one point, I think it was working, but somewhere along the way, those fonts got corrupted.
The weird thing is that it seems to affect all of my projects, both for the DP600s and DP250s.

Hi,
I want to ensure you have not selected font in the edit window "Preview font".
You have select font in "Inspector" ont the left side in "constant" ?
