Controller overview

I think there was an overview on the old version of the old version of the Danfoss website, where you had the possibility to check each controllers capabilities:
Number of D-inputs, Number of MF-Inputs, Number of D-outputs, Number of MF Outs, Can channels, memory size ...
Where can I find this info nowadays, without accessing every datasheet separately?

It's not as detailed but only how many in- and outputs a controller has. If you look into the TI you will find more detailed information;

Hi Nilla,

Both suggestions don't help much if you want to chose the best solution to get a control for for instance:
6 H1B K2K2 (1 Prop displacement and 1 black/white spool) motors with speed sensors, driven by two H1P EDC controls with angle sensor, and a few pressure sensors, filter indicators,  communicating with het Diesel engine and a secondary vehicle CAN network.

Agreed that a real overview is needed.

G3org3, I forget if those EDCs require one or two outputs.  If one output each then I'd recommend a MC050-120.  If two outputs each then a MC050-110.

This is just an example, based on an old project...
I have a customer working on a small project, and I don't know what he'll need.
Pump EDC's: two MFoutputs needed, Motors need one MFout, one DigOut... 
Speed sensors, angle sensors pressure sensors etc need 5V, but total current needs to be checked, and
Sometimes it's better to use a MC024-130 + one or more IX - OX  - IOX's (to reduce the cabling, split sensor current load, ...)

I have also longed for a simple product select matrix.  I made my own spreadsheet to help select controllers and I/O modules.  I list the quantities of different types of inputs and outputs I need, and the spreadsheet adds this up then calculates the number of missing or spare inputs & outputs based on different combinations of modules that I select.  It gets complicated and isn't perfect with dual-purpose pins, but narrows down the options enough for me to pick likely candidates.

By the way G30RG3 (and others), beware using I/O modules with H1 EDC pumps if you use the H1 function block, because the two aren't compatible.  The I/O modules lack Act_Duty feedback signals which are required by the blocks, resulting in compiler errors if you don't have these signals.  I learned this the hard way, after a machine was fully wired and ready to go.  So much for a quick conversion of software that moved some inputs & outputs to an IOX-024 module.

There is a way to use S90 or H1 function blocks together with a I/O module. Please find attached an example application and a presentation to understand how to do the programming part.

Seems similar to the solution of Jashom1 in the "IO Modules" thread:    "H1B KM..."
You might add this there too: it is where I would look to find that info...
Anyway, this is great to know and a big time saver (compared to figuring it out by ourselves)

I'll echo again how nice an overview would be.  I think i'm pretty familiar with the controllers and can usually find what I need, but right now for example I'm searching through datasheets of controllers and I/O modules for which ones have the rheo (analog resistance) input. It seems like just a few have it, but it'd be nice to have that all outlined in a spreadsheet.

As a side note when I go to the microcontrollers page all of the datasheets at the top of the list are the old chipset series (ex:  MC012-010).  I guess it's in alphanumeric order.  It's similar on PartnerLink where the top of the recently updated content list is usually all obsolete documents.  Danfoss corporate remains a strong challenger against reigning champion Parker for who has a worse website.
