DM430E TEXT ISSUE

does anyone have experienced the following issue with the texts on a DM430?

basically I create a screen with some text, so at the preview on GUIDE it looks fine, however after flashing the device the text is chopped out and moved

why is that and how to fix it?

You are not alone, I had hours of back and forth adjusting text size to get it to work on my last project. In this screen with the date I still could not get the overlapping edges to not cut of unless I had grossly exaggerated bounding boxes. Even then the date cut of some of the forward slash. I gave up in the end as it wasnt a main screen.
I found Fonts that are web approved resize and play up less.

I have been testing back and forth with a DM430E and not been able to reproduce this issue.
Are you using the latest HWD file and GUIDE?

turns out

latest versions of Guide is not at all supported running on Windows 7, that was all the issue.

you need windows 10

SJ what version of windows do you use?

turns out I updated my work laptop to WINDOWS 10 PRO and I have the text issue back.

If I compile the same file with Windows 10 home all is good, texts are as should be, but if I compile the same file in Windows 10 PRO it just gets weird in regards of texts size and position.

does anyone have experiencied this?

I guess Plus1 help will be the one to help me out to find out what is going on with this.
it is annoying work the file in one laptop then the final compilation have to be in a different computer...

I am using a Windows 10 pro. Laptop. I have had to change manufacturers for the current 10in display I am using so I can only say I have had the issue on the dm430 previously.

Hey Guys,

ok, before 2021.1 version was released it was confirmed by the Danfoss guys the text issue was a bug on GUIDE, now, does any one knows if this was fixed with the latest release 2021.1?

by the way is it supposed that for this new release 2021.1 a new license is required -purchased-?

Show me a fixed-width font that doesn't look like crap, and you'll be looking at a happy niteRider...

Well, if compiled in windows 10 home edition the texts fonts are ok, they look the same on hardware as in GUIDE.

that is why I am asking if anyone is using GUIDE 2021.1 version and knows if the bug it is been fixed if working with W10 PRO

This issue has been reported to the developers, and what I can see in the bug report it is still open.
So I'm sorry, they have not found a solution to this.
