After installing the New Guide 5.1 the start-up failed
« on: October 22, 2011, 08:25:26 PM »
Hello Members,

I install the new Guide 5.1 after I remove 5.0 complete from my computer.
The install goes well, no problem at all.
After starting Guide 5.1, I get a pop-up view, with the warning: Cannot register CADINT ActiveX control!, and the start of Guide 5.1 stops.
The service Tool 5.1 starts normal.

Can anyone help me to solve the problem as soon as possible, I cannot program any more.

Best Regards

Lammert

You have to run Plus+1 with administrator rights.

Hello Lammert,

Please right click on your PLUS+1 GUIDE icon and select "Run as administrator".

Hello,

To get it to run as an administrator every time, do like this:

Right click on the icon and select Properties.
Click on the tab Compatibility and check Run this program as an administrator.

With this setting you can start the program the usual way.

Best regards
Stefan

How do you fix this problem if you don't have admin rights?

I'd like to know that too.
