Coding without hardware...is it possible ?
« on: July 02, 2013, 04:08:06 PM »
Hi
Is There anybody is learning (or already learnd) using Plus+1 GUIDE by himelf??
I ordered some hardware but it's not yet arrived so i started to read manuals,
I wonder is'it possible to make an even very very simple code without any Sauer-Danfoss hardware?

You do program without hardware, just need to know what you haveordered to use the right templates.

When it comes time to check and debug your programming is when the hardware becomes useful.

Hello MimmoA
I have no background in electrical engineering or programming.  I was given a GUIDE license and was told to figure it out.  It has been quite some time but I am certainly getting the hang of it.  You are able to program all day long without having any physical hardware, you just will not be able to compile it onto anything.  Which doesn't really help you out much!  It is much easier getting the project file into a piece of hardware and using the service tool to check your work.  I wish you the best of luck!  I have needed much luck and used this site as a resource on many occasion.
