Heat dissipation of MC050-10 controller

Dear All,
I need to install a MC050-10 controller in ATEX electrical box in Zone 2 IIA T3 IECEx and to define the electrical box I need to know the heat dissipation of this controller.
Does someone know this value ?

I have just tested a MC024-10:
12V 0,2Ampere without driving an output.
So, it is about 2-3 Watt.
If you drive outputs, there is the power loss of MosFETs:
Calculate 100mOhm per MosFET. So 3A produce 0,9 Watt.

I had the same question a few years ago (for a Zone 1 application) and couldn't find any answers in the documentation so I emailed the helpdesk for an official-ish answer.  This was their reply:

It has been my understanding the current draw on the devices can be system dependent.
This is because of the variance in the pin config settings, use of Sensor Supply and Output usage.

I would recommend testing this to make sure the values are applicable to your system.
Typically on the bench I have seen the MC50-10 draw around 200 to 250 ma, but this was with the Break Out Board also connected.
On the MC24 it was around 150 to 180 ma.
This could vary depending on your system, so again you should test this in your environment.

My own measurements confirm that answer, but I failed to record the wattage loss from driving outputs, probably because it was so small.
