But it is not USB-Host. USB Host is the same Pin as RS232. Here you can connect an USB stick. I will try it today....

In addition to what Acmall said, in the update center under "Training Video Extras" there is a example project called: "DM1000 Application Example". This example project also has an example of how to switch between Horizontal and Vertical.

In the VBSE Screen Manager panel click on the top level to select it (should be the name of your screen definition). Then in the Inspector panel expand Top Level and you will see rotation.

I am trying to find a setting in the vector based screen editor to flip the display orientation from horizontal to vertical or landscape to portrait. I am not finding it. I searched the manual and still not finding what I am looking for. I’m hoping it’s something simple that I am overlooking. Has anyone done this? Used a screen in a vertical position instead of horizontal or portrait instead of landscape?

Thanks for the examples again! I figured you through into an array and this will all work perfectly for our uses. I have to change a few things but it should all work out. Arrays and Strings, a great way to put a whole lot of data in a small space.

After some troubleshooting, I was able to solve the issue.  I had some a Line object within the widget which had default start and end points were at the same X,Y coordinates (I was planning on changing the Begin Point X value to something else based on data being fed into the widget).

I'm not sure why this causes the widget to collapse when it's used in another screen and resized but changing the initial values to no longer be on top of one another fixed the problem.

Ah I didn't realise CONCAT was limited to 16, I guess the work around is to then run two POUS and CONCAT two strings together again and so on as required.

See attached my date time page.

I tried a while back using the POU and got confused and now realize it is essentially a text coding ability within Guide. I have done a fair amount of text base coding so I understan the logic you have posted. I created a program and brought in a bunch of variables which I am monitoring, come to find out CONCAT has a 16 position limitation so I limited down my list from roughtly 30to 16, which is in cluding text like you had in your example.  Do you have an example of your DATE string and how you are laying out the string?

Thanks for the help so far.

Hello pinias,

Make sure that it's not already installed.
If you have subscribed to the files and it doesn't show up in the download list it's probably already installed.
Have a look in the hardware tab in PLUS+1 GUIDE. If you don't see it take look in the download folder for Update Center if the file is there. Search for DM700.

Have a nice day.
