I've been playing around with the new Service Tool a little and I like that the service tool is able to choose what controller to download a program into.
Then I was wondering what happens if I have multiples of the same controller on a system, such as 2 MC088-015 controllers. How does the service tool choose which controller to use then?
I have a system that has a node address of 1 and the other has a node address of 9. I created a simple program that has a node address of 7 to see what controller it would choose for download and it chose the controller with an address of 9. What if I wanted to over ride the program that was in the controller at address 1? As far as I can tell, it does not allow me a choice between the two controllers.
What logic does the service tool use in choosing a controller for program download?
