PLUS+1 GUIDE / Re: Missing fonts error when trying to compile with 2024.1
« Last post by Tor on February 13, 2024, 09:05:58 AM »
Hello williamk

I will post the same thing as I posted in another thread with the same issue:

"Yes, there seems to be a bug when it comes to some fonts and this is reported. I hope they can find a a solution quickly, and I guess, get a patch out.

Sorry about the inconvenience."

Have a nice day.

PLUS+1 GUIDE / Re: Problem by installing 2024.1.3 with update center
« Last post by acmall on February 13, 2024, 08:48:52 AM »
I got around it by killing the update center in task manager. The installation then completed and I just had to restart the Service Tool download/install.

You could also check if the installer is still in the download folder. By default it is deleted after install unless you uncheck the option in settings to Automatically delete installed files but, if the install has not completed it may still he there and the install could be started manually.

PLUS+1 GUIDE / Missing fonts error when trying to compile with 2024.1
« Last post by williamk on February 13, 2024, 12:54:42 AM »
I have a project that I can successfully compile using version 2023.2, but when I try to compile it in 2024.1 I get the following error message:

*** ERROR 597 *** [PLUS1_IDE] Screen Editor Error: {Error Code201; Missing fonts:
Balboa ExtraCondensed [Bold]
Franklin Gothic Book [Bold]
Franklin Gothic Demi [Bold]
Franklin Gothic Demi Cond [Bold]}

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the font, but that hasn't fixed the issue.

Hi,
I start update from update center and there comes the message "update center is running, please close it"
I close it in system tray and then comes: "Download on installation in process"

I can't solve this problem and Guide 2024.1 will not start.

What can I do?
Installation of service tool, same problem.

@tannnnn

Your question is in the wrong place, here, but to respond quickly:

You can use 2 of the 4 Prop/MF-outs to control the two coils, for instance by using the compliance block for a H1P pump, or using your own logic to directly feed the outputs, and use one of the 2 digital outputs to release the brake whenever the PWM-output is not equal to 0.
One issue you'll see is that the output pin names are not the physical pin numbers, depending on the cable / connector option chosen.

If you have a joystick with two 12-pin connectors:
X100p15, X100p16, X100p17 and X100p18 are connected to Pin 1 to 4 on the black connector.
X100p10 is Connected to pin 8 on the black connector, X100p20 is connected to Pin 7 on the Black connector.
Don't forget to connect both Pin 1 and Pin 6 on the grey connector to ground, and get the supply on pin 2, 7, 8 and 9 on the grey connector!
