For what it's worth, there are several places where I find the 2022.2.5 service tool to be much faster.

I have experienced slow service tools (I don't use the one you are talking about much), but the CS500 one sped up a bunch with this latest GUIDE version update.

I haven't personally had luck with this, but like you I have heard that some people have made it work.

The conclusion I cam to is that any normal corporate firewall setup would prevent peer to peer connection on the ports that are used.  While it might be possible to open things up to make this work, I think the advice is don't do it.

Also...  I believe Danfoss will soon be offering CS10 remote features where they provide the intermediate servers.  There is obviously some cost with this, but it provides a secure solution and easy to use solution.
Controllers / Re: Can Bridge

There is not a component, however, you can simply chain together a CAN Rx and a CAN Tx.  The Rx, you just need to have the mask all zero'es.  Then pass the actual ID to the CAN Tx.  Have the Rx Updt bit trigger the Tx bit.  I have not tested exactly this, but I think it should work.

There is one small complication....  You will need to have multiple of these chains...  The reason is that the CAN Rx block in GUIDE kind of "absorbs" the message.  Even with a very fast loop time 1 ms or 5 ms, there will still be several messages than come in each loop.  Each one that comes in would need it's own chain (though the chains are generic - just multiple exact copies).  Just make sure you have "plenty" of them.  How many is plenty?  I'm not sure, it depends on many factors, you would just need to test.  Also, the "protected" bit on the Rx I believe needs to be set to T.

Let us know if you find success!

Hi all,
using an MC024-130 i have 70 Can messages on Can1 and i wont to bridge them all on Can0.
Is there a component to use 1 time that make transparent can1>>can0?
i wish to avoid to write manually every IDs i need to bridge.
Thanks to all
PLUS+1 Autonomous Control Library / Re: Integrating RTK GPS

I forgot to mention companies like Swift Nav. They offer centimeter accuracy RTK at a much lower cost. I think the major difference there is that a lot more software development is involved to integrate them in comparison to a complete system like AgLeader or Trimble.

We have done a handful of them, and yes they are expensive. I recommend AgLeader, they seemed to be the most cost effective and didn't have to sacrifice performance. That is what we found to be the case anyway. We had used Trimble prior to AgLeader.

Has anyone done or looked into integrating RTK GPS into one of these systems?  These are the very expensive centimeter-accuracy GPS solutions.

Hello Niska,

Good question.
There should be a certification coming out soon if you look back to how it worked before, but I haven't heard anything. It's really quiet.
I will ask the PLUS+1 team to see if I can get any information.
As you know it's vacation time, so the answer may take some time.

Have a nice day
PLUS+1 Service Tool / Image repository directory not found.
« Last post by Fredrick on July 14, 2022, 07:03:41 PM »

When trying to save a P1D file in ServiceTool 2022.2.5 I get the message  "Image repository directory not found." and if I click Yes all images that are in the P1D file disapears.
Even if I manualy add them again I will get the same question again when trying to save the P1D file.

Please se the attached picture.
