Title: GUIDE Screen editor gradient color problem
Post by: Erten35 on February 12, 2021, 09:33:42 AM
Hi,
I am using dp720 display. I am having problems with PNG and vector images that I create in Photoshop and inkspace. But the problem occurs when I load the screen editor. but my opinion decreases when uploading the picture in screen editor. The dp720 display allows these color gradations. How can I solve this problem.

I think this is probably due to the colour depth on the DP720 being 18 bit.

One possible workaround is to add noise to the image. I know this sounds counter intuitive but I does work for some situations. You add noise with the settings adjusted so that the noise is almost invisible on the display but it is enough to disrupt the banding.
