logging to memory stick displays?
« on: January 11, 2019, 04:56:50 PM »
Hello there,

look, I wonder if there is documment that tells you what displays are capable to log straight to a memory stick though the USB connection.

back in the day, the DP6XX LX had that feature.

the New DM430E...who knows,  I do not see any documment that tells anything about.

Will not be a good thing to have it handly? (information of what displays are capable to log straight to memory stick)

I appreciate any feedback I can get about

Regards

Antonio

Hi Antonio!

This is defined in respective Data sheet (DS) and Technical Information (TI) per each specific display.

As the DM430, according to both DS and TI found on our website here https://www.danfoss.com/en/products/electronic-controls/dps/plus1-displays/dm430e-series/#tab-documents, doesn't have a USB connecter meant for a USB stick I would say this feature is not available for this specific display. It does have a 8-pin Binder connector for USB/RS232 on the rear of the display with USB device functionality as an option.

At the moment it is only the DP7xx series that has a USB connector in the front of the display that can be used for a USB stick.

Best regards
