The last time I worked with a Cummins engine I had to sign an NDA and provide a tissue sample just to get the list of supported PGNs.  Then when Deutz wanted the same thing I made an application that looks for every possible J1939 message just to figure out what was supported.  CAT just hands out their nice tech docs to anyone who asks.

oiltronic, thanks for your reply.

mmm looks like it is not easy to get it.

may be the question is, does it support the PGN 0 TSC1 like the CAT?  I just need to take control for the engine RPM.

I did what you said for a Renault DXI engine however for that engine I was not able to set the RPM with the PGN 0, it was not a request I just wanted to do it but no luck...

I do not have the truck right now, that is why I am trying to get as much information as I can.

if you can advise about the PGN 0 for the cummins I really appreciate.

thanks again
