The controllers are not specifically designed for industrial PLC type 0-10V output signals, check out this existing thread, FluidPowerTom gives a good example of how he has made it work.

PLUS+1 Service Tool / Lock File - Problem

So I have created this application, and want to protect it by locking it.
I have multiple files for downloading in my "documents folder" that I link to via different visible buttons.
So I disable "system navigator" and "menus and toolbars" in the service and application properties.
And lock the File.

BUT....
If someone with a license opens service tool and choose "Design View" and then opens the locked file.
The system navigator is visible and so is the buttons and toolbars!
And this person will then be able to download all of the files from documents folder.
The Toolkey has to be implemented in the application!
Any suggestions how to make this file locked for real?

Year that was also my thought, that there might be some logic for more precise voltage control, but I could not see the difference in practice. My application is to generate a fixed 0-10 volt reference signal for an external embedded valve controller. Then I was wondering which output mode to choose and could not see the difference in practice.

Hi,

In a project we are using the Schwarzmuller MI08 inverter.
I was not able to find the Schwarmuller hardware file on update center.
Anyone has a link for this file?

There is a lot to learn about CAN and I have only scratched the surface but, be careful not to confuse CAN 2.0A or 2.0B which are CAN specifications with CAN Open (or J1939, etc.) which are higher level protocols.

ok, I just saw it

as per Siemens CAN module tech specs it says it supports CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B.

if that is true I would rather work with CAN2.0A instead of CANopen, in such case, both are masters the controller and the Siemes PLC

I forgot to mention, the picture atatched is using a display not a controller but still same idea to use to CANopen function blocks
