PLUS+1 Service Tool / Re: Image repository directory not found.

Anyone else having problems with this?
Also, sometimes the P1D file does´t get saved so next time you open the P1D file the changes are lost and you now have an older P1D file without the changes you just did. :(
Displays / PIB - DM1x00 HWD file update
« Last post by Tor on September 02, 2022, 10:07:18 AM »

If you have not seen the latest PIB (Product Information Bulletin) about the DM1x00 I would like to share it here.

In short:
An issue was found that can cause the device to lock and become unrecoverable. The advice is to recompile to .HWD v308 or greater for any devices with a manufacturing date of August 11 or after.
The HWDs are located in the PLUS+1 Update Center. The version stated in the Update Center is 3.8.0 for some reason, but it's v308 when installed in GUIDE.

More information in the attached image/PDF file.

Thank you.

I agree the result does seem a little strange. However, it should be possible to convert the ascii array to a string to make it easier to read.
Should just be a Retype to String, and then the checkpoint can be read in the service tool with a "String Parameter" in an advanced page.

I have not used it so you will need to confirm this but, I would have expected the CI_Parser to return an array of ASCII codes. What you are getting back doesn't appear to be a serial number when converted.

55 = 7
41 = )

What make of engine are you getting the serial number from? In your code PGN 65259 is being requested from Node ID 3. Per J1939 ID 3 is normally Transmission #1, 0 is Engine #1 & 1 is Engine #2.

Hi Acmall,

You are right, it's working now.
I get 2 data: motor serial number size and motor serial number

motor serial number size = 8
motor serial number[1]= 55;
motor serial number[2]= 29;
motor serial number[3]= 41;
motor serial number[8]= ;

Is't that  motor serial number 552941........

Thank you very much
with best regards

Is the Source and Destination mixed up for TP_RTS_CTS_Rx1?. I think Source should be the device you are receiving from and Destination is the Local address.
Displays / Re: Real Time Clock For DM430

Hello BBarry,

The Real Time Clock signals in the DM430 are located in the "TOP ! Inputs ! Time" page in the template.
You can also find them in the API Specification. It's located in the HWD folder, in the project manager in PLUS+1 GUIDE.
There's a YouTube video about the RTC for the DM1000, but it should work the same for the DM430.

I hope it helped.
Displays / Real Time Clock For DM430
« Last post by BBarry on August 30, 2022, 04:30:50 PM »
Hello again!
Is there a RTC on the DM430? I am assuming no since I see nothing about it on the message boards or manual. If so.. How do I access it?

The unit will be powered off and on regularly so creating a clock in the code will not work.

Thanks again for everyone's help.
