Display Outputs
« on: November 18, 2010, 06:01:12 PM »
I know the DP610 display does not have signals intended as general purpose outputs, but I was wondering about the ratings of the pins for encoder power supply and the buzzer output. I read through the datasheet and I didn't see anywhere that specifies what the max current source is for C1P8, and the current sink of C1P12. Its just for my peace of mind that what I hookup to these output is not more then the screen can handle (Can I connect an air raid siren to the buzzer to get peoples attention? ;)).

So I answered half my own question,

Well I was digging around in the outputs page an I found a note on the output C1P8 page that states max current is 400mA.

Now does anyone know the other half?

Hello,

Sorry for the late answer.

C1p12 can sink 0.5 A

Best regards

note pin 12 does not have a back emf diode
