PLUS+1 GUIDE / Re: Input hexadecimal???

There is a block in the Utility FB Library called IEEE_754 which it states is for converting from IEEE_745 floating point representation to a fixed point notation if that helps.

You can install the Library from the Plus+1 Update Centre where it is listed as Utility Library 70380479

Dose anyone have the "float multiply block" that @jashom1 posted an image of in this thread?

I can confirm v115 release has not fixed the GNSS messaging over CAN via Virtual Signal Triggers or Periodically timers.

Fingers crossed for imminent v116 release fix.

Anyone know where an update/fix log for v115 firmware can be found/downloaded?
Displays / Re: Lifetime NVmem Erase/Write for DM430E

Normally this EEproms are ferromagnetic and so millions of erase/write cycles.
I just find no document, sorry.

I will do (next weeks) a x-y-graph on a DM430E.
I want to vary parameters and then see how the graph changes.
I hope this works.
Then I'll post it if it helps.
Of course, there are a lot of points and every point has to set per value.
Displays / USB Storage Device not recognized when using CG150-2 and Service Tool ?

USB Storage Device not recognized when using CG150-2 and Service Tool ?

Hardware is DM1x00 Displays, I have tried on both a DM1200T and DM1000T with no success.

Has anyone encountered this?

I am NOT able read/write/see my USB Storage Device connected to the M12, C4—USB Host port when using a CG150-2 and Service Tool

I am able read/write/see my USB Storage Device when using the USB Interlink and Service Tool which is connected on the M12, C3—USB Device port
General controls / Re: Dither Amplitude and frequency for EDC valve
« Last post by mvanwiechen on November 23, 2023, 07:59:41 PM »
I can speak for Hawe valves:

ReqFreq: default 4000Hz
PinConfig: 5
Maximum current 1100mA
Dither frequenc 100Hz
CurChgLim: default 111
Dither amplitude 100mA

For all valves an all dirctions the same parameters.
Sorry to dig up an old thread from 2015/2016.... I can create a new topic/thread if necessary.....

I am running into some Dither related questions, specifically on a HAWE valve.  Mainly it is the Slew/Swing valve of a crane.  24V system.  At first I was not using dither, and the control was not so precise.  Adding dither has helped, but it still isn't perfect.  I am trying to narrow down the right values for the Output Config.

Marbek_Elektronik..... I am essentially using the values you mentioned.  However you mentioned a Dither amplitude of 100mA.  Is that a value of DitherAmp=100, which is actually 10.0mA since the unit is 0.1mA?  Or DitherAmp=1000 which is actually 100.0mA?  I have tried both ways....
-Input value of 100, corresponding to 10.0mA, and it works fairly well.
-Input value of 1000, corresponding to 100.0mA, and it the movements seem very jumpy/jerky.
(I left it at 10.0mA for now)

Another thing I am noticing..... is this normal?
-When moving the joystick from Neutral to 1% (min), it commands 230mA to the valve, and it is a nice slow movement.
-However if I "slowdown" from max speed (100% joystick) down to the same 1% (min), command is back to the same 230mA, but the movement is noticeably faster (when compared to neutral to min).
General controls / Re: Modbus converter

Use a RENU modbus to CAN gateway, it is a low cost and simple to use the only thing is that it just works with 29bit CAN messages

I have sued that in several applications with no issue.

I have not noticed you replied.

So yes my logic is somewhat like your picture

turns out the coupler to the encoder had some slippery and misalignment, that was my problem, I installed a step motor to drive the encoder and get it tested but that coupling was the bad guy.

Thanks for the advise.

I have the same issue.... periodic sending of the GNSS data onto the CANbus stopped working after updating firmware to v114.  Helpdesk has told me it will be fixed in v116 of the firmware.

Thanks for this information.
We had a lot of trouble with version 114. I hope version 116 will be available and stable soon.
Have a good day
