I/O Modules / Re: No IO Modules in Hardware List
« Last post by Tor on Today at 07:14:54 AM »
Hello STGBruce,

If you don't see in the the Hardware tab it might be that you don't have installed the components from the PLUS+1 Update Center, and you have the PLUS+1 GUIDE setting to not show folders that are empty.
The setting can be found here: PLUS+1 GUIDE > Setup > Options > Tabs.  In the "Tabs Settings" you can uncheck the box "Hardware tab hides empty folders".

In PLUS+1 Update Center you have to select the components in your subscription, download and install them.
Click the "Edit" button in the top right corner, go to Content > Compliance Blocks > IO Modules.  Save selection, button on bottom right. Refresh (F5) if needed and install.

I hope this works out.

I/O Modules / No IO Modules in Hardware List
« Last post by STGBruce on Today at 02:21:16 AM »
Thinking of using an IOX module on an application to add additional IO, but there are no IO modules in my hardware list.
I have tried going through update center, but don't see it in the available downloads.
Also tried searching online with no luck.

PLUS+1 Compliant Hardware / DM430E with MBS 1250
« Last post by PetrHSC on Today at 02:14:05 AM »
Hi Team,

I'm fairly new in PLUS+1 and whole this field. So sorry if this is a stupid question...

I have DM430 and trying to do a simple reading off the MBS 1250 on the display gauge.

Hardware:
1x DM430E-0-0-1-0
1x MBS 1250 0-250bar (063G1422)

I'm using a Functional blocks for MBS 1250 connected like this:
Input = Pin 6 (DigIn/AnIn) set up as per MBS manual:
n/a Bias
n/a Range
3000 DigThresHigh
2000 DigThresLow

Pin 8 = DigIn/AnIn using as 5V supply Pin 8-Snsr_Pwr

First question:
Can I use Pin 8 DigIn/An as my "Snsr_Pwr"? I saw there is a version of DM430 (DM430E-2-0-0-0) which is already having pin 8 define as Snsr_Pwr. Looking inside the program for this pin and comparing Pin.08_DigIn/AnIn and Pin.08_Snsr_Pwr, both have Voltage in it.

I/O Modules / Re: output on ox modul
« Last post by Camox on January 16, 2025, 04:16:53 PM »
Hello,
Once connected to the same CAN loop as the controller that will control the outputs, you need to integrate the module into the ECU program that will drive the OX24 outputs:

Then you need to configure the OX24 with the dedicated service tool and insert the CAN parameters:

They must be identical to those in the program:

Once set up correctly, you can use the OX24 service tool to monitor output changes:

I attach the Danfoss Service Tool for OX24

PLUS+1 GUIDE / Re: Decompile LHX file / extract LHX from controller
« Last post by Lukey on January 16, 2025, 01:44:18 AM »
Unfortunately not, if you don't have the original GUIDE program file you're dead in the water.

The LHX file is pure machine code, it can't be reverse engineered or extracted from the controller.

PLUS+1 GUIDE / Decompile LHX file / extract LHX from controller
« Last post by samuelhj on January 15, 2025, 06:59:22 AM »
Hello

Is there any way to decompile an LHX file to get a SCS file out from it? Given that it's not locked with an application key.
And is there a way to extract said LHX from a controller given the same situation?

Best regards,
Samuel

Displays / DP500 and DP700 CAN message rates
« Last post by Scott_MARL on January 10, 2025, 09:20:22 PM »
Wanted to give others a heads up

Application to control engine RPM with a CAN J1939 TSC1 message using a DP500 or DP700 requires a message rate of 10 ms.
I found that the displays execution time varies between 2ms and 40 ms. The result is unstable engine RPM because the engine will switch over to idle if the TSC1 message is not received in a 10ms period.

In this case a controller is required for this job for a stable execution time below 10ms.

Displays / Re: RCD430
« Last post by Tor on January 10, 2025, 10:28:56 AM »
Hello,

This is what I find...
In the PLUS+1 Update Center you have a RCD430 Application (Subscription > Files > Applications > RCT Display RCD430 > RCD430 Application).
I have not looked at this one so I don't know what is included. But maybe some good information.

Also on YouTube there is a video about the RCT Library: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlGMBwlk_bs

If you need more information, please create a case to the RCT team: https://www.danfoss.com/en/products/dps/software/software-and-tools/plus1-software/#tab-support
Select RCT in the product field.

Have a nice day.

Have you seen this?

I don't use the RCD430 but remembered seeing this a while back.
