Hello There,

mmm  I have a DP610, DP200, Controller MC050, Controller MC012-10 and a I/OX24-10 but It seems that I need a MC024 controller becuase of the room where it is going to be installed.


I think most of you have realized that the I/O modules look alike to a controller so I wonder to know if there is a way to convert a I/O module to a controller

for instance as I mentioned above, I have the I/OX24-10,

 Could it be posible to convert it to a MC024-10 controller?

if posible it will be great.

Does anybody knows if that is posible?

if so, what is needed?

I doubt that it is possible, not without some hardcore hacking of the unit anyway.
In which case I'm pretty sure that your warranty would be void.

Also the OX-module and MC differs very much on the inside.
The OX would not be able to perform the same tasks as a Controller.

But this is just my thoughts on this, it wouldn't surprise me if somebody has done something to an expansion module just for fun.
