J1939/CANBUS hardware filters

Hi Folks -

I was wondering how the plus+1 J1939 library handles hardware filtering of the CANBus messages.  Does the Plus+1 application automatically setup the hardware's CANbus controller filters to prevent overloading of the microcontroller?
