Can you view/edit a P1T file?

Does anyone know how to view or edit a P1T file?

This is a good question, but the only way I have found so far is to download the matching program into an ECU, and then viewing the downloaded P1T file through the controller parameter function in the service tool.

It would be great if there were a direct way to both view, edit and maybe even create, a *.P1T (ECU parameter file).
