broken links in user manual L1230699
« on: November 02, 2020, 08:28:44 PM »
In my quest to understand the CAN_BE_SAFE programming, I noticed that the links were broken in user manual L1230699.

Specifically:

See the PLUS+1 CAN Safety Message document for more information on the PLUS+1 CAN Safety Protocol
(also known as CAN Be Safe). You can find this and more material at:
     http://powersolutions.danfoss.com/solutions/functional-safety

Can someone point me to this document?

Hi Joel,

I guess the link is broken due to obsolete blocks. See below.

The CANBeSafe blocks is outdated due to changes in the standards and removed from PLUS+1 GUIDE a while back.
To replace this there will be a new library coming out in the Update Center, the J1939 Safety FB Library V1.00.
These blocks can be considered the replacements for the old CANBeSafe blocks and will support the J1939-76 safety protocol.

Hopefully it will be uploaded to the Update Center any day now.

Have a nice day.
Best regards,
