Text not formatting properly
« on: January 25, 2017, 03:22:08 PM »
I'm using a DP710 and Guide 9.0.7.  I'm having an issue with text formatting properly on the display screen.  When I view the text within Guide, it shows the proper formatting, but when I compile and download it to the display, the display does not have the same format.  I don't remember having this issue in previous versions of Guide.

What aspect of the format is incorrect?

Hi dlewis!

What is your setting for the screen resolution on your computer? Having e.g. it set to 125% at compilation in GUIDE could give this behaviour after download to a display. There actually is a requirement in the Release notes for GUIDE that you need to use Display/text size set to 100% at all times.

Best regards

It is removing blank lines between text lines. In another instance, it combined multiple lines into one.  My screen is at 100% with a resolution of 1920x1080.

Hi dlewis!

I've done a simple application for a DP710 adding some text with blank lines as both a simple text and also in a text list, see attached, but I'm not able to replicate what I think your issue was based on what you stated above. Tried out a blank line both with and without any space on it. Would you be able to send us your application in a .P1P-format to plus+1helpdesk@danfoss.com so I can have a look at it and trying to download it on my testbench?

Best regards
