For just temporary monitoring you'd just want to put a multimeter in series with the valve coil and read the current that way.

There's no way for you to read this accurately by connecting the PLUS1 controller directly.  Even if you splice into the signal to read the PWM duty cycle you're then just siphoning off some of the current to the valve and potentially disrupting operation.  You'll need to look into a current measuring device that can go in series (so that it's not splicing out some of the current) that has a voltage or other type of output.  There's probably something out that that'll convert a 0 - 2A or 0 - 3A signal into 0 - 10V, but you might be hard pressed to find one that just goes in series and allows the current to pass through to the valve.

Controllers / Read PWM current signal

Hi,

Does anybody know how to read a PWM current signal on an MC050-110?

There is an external ECU running a coil with a current output, and i want to know what the output is in percent in my software.
I'm an electric novice, but i think i need a RC filter before the MC50 input and read the signal as voltage? Anybody know how to calculate this or to get a stable signal?

I found out that the PWM signal is 1kHz, and from 600mA -> 2000mA.

When i now read the voltage or duty on the input it is not stable at all, and i tried filtering it in Guide using low-pass filter, but i can't get a stable signal...

Using a phone hotspot to connect to the wifi is no different than connecting to any other wireless router and should not be extra. If there was the ability to connect without an external device creating the network then that would definitely be extra. IE if the CS10 had the option for an internal SIM card to connect to phone/satellite network.

Hi,

I have not played around with the DM1200 and mobilephones enough to help you with this setting. Maybe someone else has a good answer.

Please contact the PLUS+1 Helpdesk and create a case if you still have problem:  https://danfoss.secure.force.com/dpscustomersupport
Add to the case what HWD file and what type of phone you are using, as much details you can.

Has anybody tried to use or connect to the bluetooth available on the DM1200T? I have the interface enabled, have it set to discoverable, and set autopairing to true just so that i could try to get connected to it. I had it show up on my phone as available only one time and when i tried to pair with it, i got a message on my phone that there is an app needed for pairing  ??? ? I was just wondering if anybody had some advice or maybe a sample that would help me.

Thank you!

Hi Tor,

Thanks, I now have the debug toolbar appearing after I select the debug button from the normal/default screen.

I would say that getting the debug toolbar to appear is not very intuitive and is different from the method for other toolbars (select from the view/toolbars list).  Even now, the debugger toolbar doesn't appear in any toolbar list.

Adding a statement, step by step instructions or anything about this to the eLearning and the manuals would have saved me lots of time and frustration yesterday.  I'm so glad I decided to start the eLearning early!

Best Regards,
Karen

I will go to the Hardware tab, right click on the service screen (example PVE-Driver Service Screen-Detail) and select Copy to Clipboard.

Then I open PLUS+1 Service Tool and create a new service application. I will Right Click on the Log Pages and then select Import from Clipboard...

This will create a page using the default Checkpoints that are enabled in the Function Block. If you change the Namespace you will have to make the adjustment to the signal names on the created page.

Function Library / Service Screen - detail/flow

Hello all. I have been working with Plus 1 for about a year now, and i am still learning new things about this software every day so please bear with me if this is dumb question. I would like to know what the service screen - detail/flow are (for example, under the PVE_Driver). I have tried to open them, no luck. I have searched all over Danfoss's website, manuals, and this forum. Thank you for any help!
