CANopen Master
« on: May 12, 2014, 03:55:06 PM »
I am having a problem initiating the communication with a CANopen device from my MC050-020.  The device displays an error message stating "Waiting for NMT-START telegram from CAN master."  I have tried sending the message of (1,0) upon system start, but that does not work.  Is there something special that needs to be done to set up the MC050-020 as a CAN Master?  What else could I be missing?

Have you tried sending the start command with CAN-king, or is it being sent by the MC50?

I have tried doing both.  Neither have been successful.

I figured it out.  It was a simple mistake.  The Baudrate dip switches were backwards, and therefore I had the module set to the wrong Baudrate.
