Update center hangs on login

I have had trouble getting update center to install on my machine at work.  I can install it to literally every other machine on the network, but my machine, which is a fresh install windows 10 machine, hangs when I get the that part where I log in.  I am left with a window that says "ok" in it and displays "this window will automatically close" at the bottom.  The IT guys are confused as there is nothing special about my install.  Has anyone had similar experience?
