Title: Mc038 Power pins
Post by: bgtwuk on September 17, 2013, 06:57:47 PM
Gents

On the MC 038, are the power pins 36, 37, 38, connected internally together?

Are they connected to pin 2?

Can I monitor them individually for voltage available? Will I need to connect my source for each also to a input to monitor?
Thanking you in advance.

They are independant.
They are not connected to pin 2.
Each one is assigned to output pins as per the Datasheet.
Each input voltage can be monitored individually.

I believed that to be true, based on the datasheet.

When I connected the module to my power supply, using only pin 1 and pin 38, the module powered up.

Of course this is upsetting when the plan was to isolate the power pins so the trace from pin 2 does not burn off.
