Title: new Hex-file for older IO-modules?
Post by: Marbek_Elektronik on July 19, 2012, 03:08:38 PM
We have a system with 1 Controller and 2 OX024-10.
One Output module is to be changed.
Now, I have an older OX024-10 to use.
The OS ist v140 and the actual version on SD-homepage is v150.
Do you suggest to install the newer firmware to that old module?
The software for the controller would not be changed.
Or is it better not to change firmware ?

Ok, I ask again:
Do you prefer to install the newest firmware on older hardware modules such as controllers and IO modules?
Even if you don't need to do this?

Upgrade to the latest firmware, old hardware or not.  It apparently cures several issues in the earlier versions.
