What type of output are you using for the PVG power supply? If it's a digital out there is nothing you can do in software. If it's a multifunction output then you can set DisableCurrentDecayRateMonitoring to true to prevent this from happening, however it is up to you to monitor if the output fails to turn off when requested.
If you are using a digital output you could look at putting a diode in series with the PVG power, my guess is the capacitance in the PVG supply is too much for the decay rate monitoring and triggers this fault. This diode will also present some issues as you may have to compensate for the ratiometric voltage change to the PVG
